Media maven Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos.. Colman Domingo’s first starring role on TV.. Coleman Domingo is becoming my favorite actor. He can really turn reading the phone book into a compelling story. And that’s about as compelling as The Madness right now. The dialogue is almost embarrassingly stupid. They try hard to be stiff and edgy, but it comes across as very predictable and mundane. From the start, there is much about the story that defies the most basic common sense. I am constantly asking myself ‘why why why?!' So much so that after episode 2 I skipped episode 7 just to see what happens at the end. I have no doubt that in the episodes I skipped there is little more than a lot of over-the-top storytelling and superfluous dialogue.
